  • Beschrijving: Pelopidas and his wife Pelagia are visited by their impetuous daughter Ntora, who announces to them that she is divorcing her husband Charis. Before they have the chance to recover from the shock, their other daughter, Giouli, intrudes and announces that she too is getting a divorce. The reason for all this is the advent of the mini skirt, which inspires women to claim their freedom of dress. Men, however, don’t accept the mini. This example is also followed by the youngest sister, who breaks off her engagement; and by their plump aunt, who leaves her husband. Pelopidas, trying to reason with his daughters, asks for a divorce from Pelagia, who is leading him around by the nose. Very soon, however, prudence and reason prevail, reconciliations take place, and the men agree with their better halves.
